GROZZO lived alone in a crooked wooden cabin at the edge of Whispering Forest. Every morning his enormous yawn shook leaves from the trees. Everyone thought he was roaring. GROZZO was simply always sleepy.

THE BEAR EVERYONE AVOIDED
Whenever GROZZO tried to say hello, another thunderous yawn escaped. The animals ran away, so he walked only at night and filled his cabin with tiny quiet things: broken bells, dry leaves, empty shells, and old music boxes.

THE NIGHT OF THE FOG
A young fox disappeared inside a heavy fog. GROZZO climbed the tallest hill and released the biggest yawn of his life. Its echo rolled between the trees and guided the fox safely home.

From that night onward, GROZZO became the guardian of the forest. He never learned how to roar, but his mighty yawn became the sound that told every creature it was safe.
